Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2003 under guidance of Prof. (Late) Alam Singh a renowned Geotechnical Engineering Expert. Er. Inder Pal Meel was the founder head of department (2003-2005). Since the year 2005, the civil engineering department was guided by Prof. (Dr.) Iqraz Nabi Khan, who had about 30 years experience which includes field, research, teaching and consultancy and ten years overseas teaching experience. Department was supported by excellent and dedicated faculty.
